All employers are aware of the importance of supporting their employees’ mental health. The Mental Health Burnout Report (2024) says that 1 in 5 people had to take time off work in 2023 due to stress. So how can we help you support your employees’ mental resilience?

At Create Yourself Calm, we organise and run workshops to help people unwind and learn skills that can help them to take better care of themselves and to deal with stress better.
​
Our creative mindfulness workshops are aimed at everyone from beginners to more experienced creatives and are a great way for your teams to take some time out together. They will learn some mindfulness techniques that they can take away and will then create their own piece of artwork. Everyone is given a step-by-step demonstration and all materials are provided. It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or haven't done any art since school, we have some great tricks for producing some colourful, mindful, creative work.

Our wellbeing and self-care workshops can be tailored to the needs of your employees and can include tips and strategies on how to manage work and personal stress. These can include how to incorporate some physical movement into your day, how to set some time boundaries to avoid overwhelm and how to put down the phone and make in person connections. We can also help you to identify when you are reaching your limits and how to reach out for help.

Our evidence-based mindfulness workshops and longer courses are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some prior experience of mindfulness. There is a growing body of evidence as to the potential benefits of practising mindfulness - one of the 5 ways to wellbeing as identified by the New Economics Foundation (citation).

Who are we?
We are a counsellor with a background in HR in the City of London, a mindfulness teacher/counsellor, and an art teacher who share a passion for the crossover between creativity, wellbeing, and self-care. We aim to empower those we work with to discover better ways to support themselves through stressful times.
We offer a range of workshops, in mindfulness, creative mindfulness, self-care and wellbeing. We also offer longer courses such as our 8-week mindfulness course or 4-6-week art for wellbeing journaling courses.
